5/24/2020 BYS Update: 2020 Season Cancelled

2020 Season Update 5/24/20

Hello BYS Families,

As always, we hope this message reaches you and your families in good health. The
state of Ohio has issued a return to play date of May 26, with specific guidelines in place that
are required to be followed. The BYS board has be working hard since the start of the
pandemic to come up with solutions to get a season in this year.

However, after much deliberation, we are saddened to announce that we are officially
cancelling the 2020 BYS Rec and Travel programs. This decision was not made lightly. We felt
that this decision was in the best interest of our players, coaches, and community. As a board,
we will continue to work hard for all of you. We will take all guidelines into account and decide later on such things as clinics or fall ball to keep the kids active.

Refunds will be processed as soon as possible to all families who have paid. We will be
working with our website vendor to see if it’s possible to apply a credit to be used in the future
instead of a refund. We will make a statement at a later date. Please remain patient with the
refunds as it will be quite the task to complete.

We would like to thank all of our BYS families for your cooperation and patience during
these uncertain times. We as a board are blessed to be part of such a wonderful community
and we look forward to the 2021 season.
